Yesterday I did the fiirst four stages of the geocache
"Great White North Geotour - Victoria Vistas"

Today I went for the final which was 16 km straight line from downtown Victoria.
By bicycle it took me almost 51km plus about 2 km of pushing the bicycle along an old path.
Then when the path ended, I had to lock the bike to a tree and continue the final 200 meters by bushwacking and climbing.

Once I got to the top I found the fifth clue and it directed me to the geocache.

This is it - with the first clue for the final in Ottawa.

When I was on top, I found a nice trail that would have made it easy to take my bike with me.
Garmin sent me to the wrong side of the hill.

When I got back on the road with my bike I checked out the damage from the bushwacking.
Not a pretty sight.

The impressive Empress Hotel
Rhododendrums and other flowers everywhere. Beautiful!
